We're selling games we call "designer" board games or card games. We believe there is a game for everyone, so we have games for all sorts of people at all sorts of experience levels. Because our debut shop has limited space, we can't sell every awesome game you might have heard of. But if there's one you want and we don't have it in the shop, we might have it online, or we can order it for you. Just ask one of our shop keepers.
If you're visiting New York or if you want to send a game to someone far and wide, we can ship your purchase for you. Just ask our shop keepers at the store!
We have a super-friendly return policy. While the shop is open (until January 3), you can return any game with receipt that you purchased anytime during the season. After January 3, you can email info@gamesplace.us for help on returns. All games purchased in the shop need to be returned by January 30, 2010.
If you buy a game from us and need a little help learning to play it, we'll show you how! You'll be able to schedule a training time either in our shop or at a nearby park location with one of our shop keepers and we'll play with you to show you the ins and outs. If you purchase a game, open it, set it up, and decide it's not for you, you can exchange it no-questions-asked in our shop until January 3.
We plan on it! We're making our debut at Bryant Park's Holiday Shops. If we think there's enough interest in the city for a game store that people will actually enjoy visiting, then we plan to open in 2010. Come visit us at Bryant Park and show your support!
